Major Projects and Milestones
U.S. Route 90 Bridge Replacement
The Biloxi Bay Bridge is a prominent structure carrying U.S. Route 90 (US 90) over Biloxi Bay, connecting Biloxi and Ocean Springs in Mississippi.
The current bridge replaced a structure destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The replacement bridge opened on November 1, 2007.
East Hardy Bridge
The new East Hardy Street bridge (officially renamed to the River Avenue Bridge) is a multi-million dollar infrastructure project connecting Hattiesburg and Petal, MS, over the Leaf River. It officially opened to the public in May 2024, replacing the 70-year-old span
Pearl River Bridge - U.S. 98
Construction of new bridges over the Pearl River on U.S. 98 in Marion County, Mississippi by T.L. Wallace is underway. The $57.7 million project aims to replace aging structures, improve traffic flow, and enhance safety for motorists and marine traffic. Expected completion in 2027.
Diamondhead Round Abouts
The $17 million Exit 16 Interchange improvement project in Diamondhead, MS, features three new roundabouts to ease traffic flow and improve safety. Two flank the I-10 ramps, while a third replaces the former four-way stop where West Aloha Drive meets Gex Drive. The project also includes a multi-use path for pedestrians and golf carts.

State Route 26 Rebuild
T.L. Wallace Construction in Columbia, Mississippi, completed emergency repairs on State Route 26 in George County. The $1.8 million contract was awarded after a major landslide washed out the roadway following Hurricane Ida. The highway was successfully reopened to traffic in late 2021.
